On February 10-13, 2019, the founder and director of Code on the Road (COR) Aya Burweila and COR AEIF project adviser Raja Nayed for “Empowering Migrant Women and Girls Through Business Entrepreneurship and Software Training”, attended the conference and workshop by the Afro-Asian Union for International Law & Dispute Settlement on “National and International Leadership Development for Arab Women”. At this conference which took place at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Cairo, women from all over the Arab world attended to both learn and exchange ideas both on obstacles and solutions to women’s empowerment and human rights violations, and most importantly, to create a solidarity network of dynamic women ranging from Yemen to Libya and from Egypt to Iraq.
