Code on the Road ’s Online Business Venture course will teach the skills needed to create a successful startup and show how to take your bricks and mortar store to the virtual world.

Code on the Road is now accepting registrations for its new, Corona compliant course: Entrepreneur 2 Entrepreneur: Launch Your Online Business.

Deadline for registrations is Midnight, Friday 25th September 2020. The first session starts on Saturday 3rd October 2020. The course is free but spaces are limited to a maximum of 30 students so act swiftly!

 

THE WHO, WHAT AND WHERE

What is the Entrepreneur 2 Entrepreneur Course? 
Do you want to launch your own business online and be your own Boss Girl? Our Online Business Venture course will give you the skills you need to create a successful startup in MENA and show you how to take your bricks and mortar store to the virtual world. Participants will learn all the right moves in starting a business from:
 
• Idea formation and the business plan
• Pitching and negotiating investment terms with VC firms
• Connecting with a payment system for online payments
• Contingency planning and how to adapt in time of pandemic
 
And much much more on how to launch your business and make bank.
 
What is the Course Syllabus?
The course will be a total of 20 hours divided over 9 zoom session. The course will cover detailed topics under the following themes:

Who will teach the course?
The course will be taught by Mohammad Albattikhi. He is the founder and CEO of Bilforon, an award-winning technology company focused on developing tools and applications for managing and analyzing online food orders. He’s also a business consultant and an entrepreneurship and innovation trainer. Mohammad worked as the Acceleration Manager at Oasis500 where he guided entrepreneurs by helping them define the scope of their companies and providing them with the tools and contacts necessary to achieve meaningful milestones. Prior to joining Oasis500, Mohammad co-founded and directed Western Michigan University’s Business Accelerator, Starting Gate.
 
Throughout the course, participants will also meet with other successful entrepreneurs and learn from their experience.
 
Can anyone register?
If you’re a human and belong to the female sex, you can register. The program is open to all women and girls who wish to learn the principles of business entrepreneurship or to improve their already existing businesses—regardless of age, race, and religious or political status. 
 
Where will the sessions take place? 
The course will total 20 hours spread over 9 session—all delivered online via the Zoom platform. The first session starts on Saturday 3rd October 2020.
 
What language will the course be taught?
The course will be taught in English and Arabic.
 
What do you need? 
A mobile phone or a computer, and a Carpe Diem attitude!
 
What happens after? 
At the completion of this course, students will receive a certificate of achievement and will be introduced to mentoring networks to assist them in launching their businesses online.
