OLIVIA QUINN

HEAD OF PROGRAMS AND PARTNERSHIPS

Olivia Quinn is the Head of Programs and Partnerships at Code on the Road. She is a consultant and researcher focusing on alternative funding, humanitarian innovation for reaching vulnerable populations and humanitarian governance for Middle East and North Africa migration. She brings a background in learning and development and public sector strategy consulting at EY and PwC in the Middle East. Before joining the humanitarian sector, Olivia spent over 10 years working in the private sector in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), she was consultant and advisor to regional centers of government working with youth engagement, economic diversification agenda and labor market inclusion. She designed and ran a ‘consulting in the community program’, applying consulting skills in refugee camps and vulnerable communities, including Greece and Pakistan. Olivia worked with the Global Alliance for Humanitarian Innovation as well as leading research and consultancies on Islamic Finance to fund the UN Sustainable Development Goals, private sector partnerships and education in emergencies with organizations including the UNDP, Human Crescent and Erasmus University. Olivia received her undergraduate degree from the American University in Cairo and completed an MSc from the London School of Economics in International Development and Humanitarian Emergencies with a focus on Islamic Finance for development. She is fluent in English, French and Spanish with a strong working knowledge of Arabic.
